Remy Hair vs. Non-Remy Hair
Remy hair is human hair collected from a single donor, while Non-Remy hair is collected from multiple sources. Therefore, the quality and appearance of Remy hair is clearly superior.
Remy hair has intact cuticles aligned in a single direction, significantly reducing the risk of hair strands tangling or deteriorating. Non-Remy hair is often chemically treated and coated with a layer of silicone to achieve a silky appearance. However, after a few washes, the silicone wears off and the hair becomes fragile and looks "worn out."
Moreover, since the cuticles are not intact, Non-Remy hair extensions do not tolerate dyeing and heat styling well. In contrast, natural Remy hair is very resistant, can be dyed, heated (curled or straightened), styled, washed, and treated like your own natural hair.
Natural Remy hair has approximately the same length, about 95%, and the tips take on a slightly conical, natural shape. Non-Remy hair either has exactly the same, unnatural length, or the tips are "thinned out," having an unsightly appearance.
