What you need to consider when choosing to get hair extensions installed

Belher offers a very wide range of natural extensions, as well as synthetic fiber extensions. For natural hair extensions, both in our stores and on our website, you will find three product lines: Premium (Extra Volume), Deluxe (Double Volume), and VIP (Triple Volume).
For Premium hair extensions, we have several types available: tape on extensions, sewn, clip-on, microring, keratin, nanoring, ponytails, or false bangs. All come with a certificate of authenticity proving the quality of the Remy Indian hair extensions used by Belher.
To better understand how each type of extension is applied, we present below the particularities of each.
Tape-On Extensions - represent the latest generation in semi-permanent hair extensions. They are applied cold using a very strong and transparent adhesive tape, close to the hair root, by a specialist in about 30 minutes.
They last depending on how fast your hair grows. You can reuse them up to 6 times, depending on how well they have been maintained. They are reapplied every 6-8 weeks.
Sewn Extensions - The Premium sewn extensions set consists of a single weft 140 cm wide, easily adaptable to your desires. Available lengths for this set: 45, 55, 60 cm.
Sewn extensions can be applied semi-permanently by a specialist, by sewing or attaching with micro-rings. They can also be transformed into clip-on hair extensions by attaching clip-on clamps.
They can be worn between 2 and 4 months, depending on how fast your hair grows. They can be reused.
Microring Extensions - microring hair extensions are semi-permanent extensions, applied by attaching small rings to hair strands. A strand of the extension hair is crocheted with a strand of your own hair and inserted through the ring using a loop and a crochet hook. Then, the ring is tightened with pliers. We recommend consulting an experienced person for their installation.
They can be worn for about 2 months (depending on how fast your hair grows) and can be reused. You only need to purchase new rings for attachment.
Keratin Extensions - Keratin extensions are applied hot by a specialized person, in approximately 60 minutes.
Applied "strand by strand", meaning they have the form of hair locks.
Depending on necessity and preferences, up to 8 sets of keratin extensions can be installed: Extra volume: 2-3 sets of keratin extensions, Full Head: 4-5 sets of keratin extensions, Double Volume: 6-8 sets of keratin extensions
They can be kept for 3-4 months, depending on how fast the hair grows. Once fixed, no further intervention is needed.
Nanoring Extensions - represent the latest generation in the category of semi-permanent hair extensions that do not require heat or glue, being totally non-invasive.
100% Natural Hair Extensions with Nano-Ring are very popular and are truly considered an innovation.
The Nano-Ring is 90% smaller than the Micro-Ring, making them very discreet. They are 100% safe due to the new fastening system (there is no risk of slipping off the hair) and are ideal for fine or thin hair. They do not damage the hair because they do not require glue or heat and can be worn for up to 8 weeks and reused 4-6 times.
If you want to install any of the types of extensions mentioned above, you need to keep a few things in mind:
- The products offered by Belher are made from 100% natural hair, with a hair ratio of 95/5 (the highest ratio available on the hair extensions market), which means the hair is approximately the same length. This way, the hair density is maintained from root to tip, aiming to eliminate the unsightly look of thinned and tapered hair.
- After you have purchased and installed the extensions at Belher, DO NOT wash your hair for the next 3-4 days so the extensions have time to fix better.
- Let us do your first wash! We use products specially designed for the hair type we use and know best how to maintain the extensions we install.
- If you want your extensions to look impeccable for a long time, we advise you to purchase our special hair care range (shampoo, mask, spray, serum). These do not contain salt or sulfates and will hydrate your hair, keeping it shiny and silky, just like natural hair. Commercial products will only dry out your hair and give it a dull appearance. - Avoid going to the sauna and getting your hair wet in the pool or at the sea.
- Do not use any other product at the hair roots except shampoo. Otherwise, you risk damaging the extensions' hold.
